TYPE OF BUSINESS: SERVICE STATION
Objectives and Purpose of the Job:
This position is responsible for shift supervision and assisting the Station Manager with several aspects of site operations and performance. It involves supervising and performing (if necessary) the activities of the Cashiers, CSAs and Grounds staff, in addition to a variety of duties within a service station establishment which include wet and dry stock receival, timely ordering of all products to prevent stock-outs, timely completion of all reporting requirements as well as any other responsibilities as directed by the business or the Station Manager.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Adhere to all Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) Procedures and Policies. Ensure that the level of customer service is maintained to RUBIS standards as per RUBiS International’s Mystery Motorist Program (MMP)
Ensure that all aspects of housekeeping are maintained to RUBIS standards as per the housekeeping procedures contained in the Service Station Business Policy and Procedures Manual.
Ensure that all products (fuel, lubricants, cooking gas cylinders, products in convenience store including phone cards) are ordered on a timely basis to prevent stock-outs.
Receive wet and dry stock, following the delivery procedures.
Complete shift report at the end of shift.
Effectively coach customer service agents, cashiers, grounds man and other station workers.
Comply with RUBIS’s Cash Management Procedures which includes the collection and deposit of drops in safe.
Demonstrate on a daily basis, the ability to interact with staff, the public and suppliers in a friendly, professional and enthusiastic manner.
Liaise with station manager and apply the necessary disciplinary actions where appropriate and ensure the relevant documentation is done.
Assist with the station staff evaluation process.
Make recommendation to the station manager that an employee be dismissed or promoted.
Perform any other reasonable task as assigned by the Station Manager.
Academic/Technical/Management: Experience and Qualifications:
A Diploma in Business Administration or its equivalent.
Customer service and cash handling experience.
Abilities; Skills; Experience; Aptitude and Judgement:
Possess good oral and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service and team building skills.
Demonstrate unquestionable integrity.
Ability to work across shifts.
